Mannequin with Daisy Flourish Background

Hello Everyone!
Whimsy is the key word for today's post.  Check out this cool Mannequin stamp from Carmen's Veranda.  It is oh so whimsical!!  Love the effect of stamping the image with brown ink and coloring with Copic Markers.  I also added a stamped background using the Daisy Flourish stamp from Lost Coast.

See more instructions and a second example on my blog, Dreaming and Creating.  See you soon!

Thinking of You (Set of 3)

I thoroughly enjoyed creating this set of cards using the Mannequins stamp set. They are so girly - what girlfriend wouldn't just love getting these?! I only used three of the six stamps in this set, so stay tuned for three more at some point! ;) The inside sentiment is from the Party Words stamp set - a very cool set of sentiment stamps that I don't know how I've lived without! I can't tell you how impressed I am with the quality of all the Lost Coast Designs stamps I've used. They are deeply etched and it's almost impossible to mess up! ;)

I used a monochromatic black/white theme with each card having just a splash of color. I cut three 4.25" x 5.5" white card bases and stamped the Thinking of You sentiment on the inside of each in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I cut various pieces of The Paper Cut black and white patterned papers, as well as some Marco's black and red cardstock (for matting), and some pink cardstock (also for matting) from my stash. I stamped the mannequins in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock and cut each with a Spellbinders Long Rectangle die. I mounted the patterned papers onto either black or pink cardstock, adhered them to the card bases, and then embellished each with some additional die cuts, flat-back pearls, ribbon, a fabric rose and a feather. Love 'em!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
