4x4 Steampunk Tile

Hello all. Cathy here with a 4x4 Steampunk Art Tile.
So I went and grabbed 1 of my 4x4 Art tiles. I felt like using my Distress Oxide inks. I thought what colors have I not played with? Brown. So I grabbed the browns. Walnut stain, vintage photo and antique linen.
I did the smooching technique with the inks and a craft mat. When I was happy with the background I moved on to adding my stencil.
Next I stamped the bird on bike with black ink. Then I added some gears to the wheels of the bike. Stamped the Steampunk word from Carmen's Veranda. Then I cut the word in half. Edged the word and 4x4 tile with vintage photo. Glued word and gears on top and done....

Hi Coasties,
In keeping with the Current Lost Coast Design Challenge, I have a blue/green card to share today.  I used the LCD stamp Steampunk Bicycle Lady.   I added lots of distress inks and roughed up the edges a bit.

Lost Coast Stamps with Stenciled Backgrounds - Reduex

Hello Coasties,
I am back again with some samples made with stencilled backgrounds.  I have written a tutorial showing how to create the backgrounds on my blog, Dreaming and Creating, here.  I used some of my favorite Lost Coast Design to beautifully complement my backgrounds.  Take a look.

That should get you going on some new techniques for the new year.  Give it a try---I find it totally fun and relaxing.  See you next time!

Steampunk Typewriter Girl

Hello!
I have a pretty cool Steampunk Style tag to share with you today.  I made this tag with the stamp Steampunk Typewriter Girl.  I stamped on glossy CS that was cut into a tag.

I also stamped the Loops Border with Faded Jeans Distress inks in the background.    I added lace, rick rack and wire for accents.  Hope you are having a great day.  Talk again soon!

Steampunk Drag Queen Image Goes Girly

Hi Everyone!
Karen here today with two projects made with the fun and funky stamp, Drag Queen.  The first projects has some paper piecing and both are made with backgrounds created with Distress reinkers and stains.

I really girly-ed the Drag Queen up on the second project with pink satin ribbon and buttons.
