Party Dog Birthday!!

Karen here today to share a fun Birthday card I made for my nephew.  I used one of the Party Dogs and He is ready to PARTY!  This card also fits the December challenge theme-- which is Party Critters.  Be sure to enter your project.

Only Three Days Left Until Santa Arrives!

I am as excited as a kid!  It is so close I can't wait :)  Nanette here wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year! So here to wave in the big event is the old guy himself! "Waving Santa" is from Carmen's Veranda and I, too, wonder why Mrs. Clause has not altered those pants!  Could be he loves showing some other color than red and white?  Those blue shocking socks are my newest love...the Nuance Powders now available at Lost Coast Designs with some awesome videos to show their wonderful uses!  I sprinkled the tiniest bit on my mat and used as watercolor for this jolly fellow with some white watercolors to make him all clean and sparkly!  The background is actually "Grunge Tree" in gold Gelatos where I stamped the excess off after using on a project!  Never waste any of the goodies, I say.

Still Time to Enter the Mail Art Challenge!

Nanette here again with some Christmas mail art!  Our Lost Coast Designs Challenge is still open for a few days, we close on the 27th so get those stamps and get messy with an envelope!  I finally got my Derwent Inktense blocks last week...squeee!  I gently tore an envelope from Betty Jo from a swap to use as my template.  Then loads of watercolor blocks and stamping with the wrong ink that smeared horribly so covered with a coat of light green paint and left it!  Came back and started over and added some stencils and embossed the inked images :)

 I used the wonderful "Elf With Star" from Carmen's Veranda and the "Christmas Lights" from there too.

Had to add "Merry Christmas" from Party Words comes from Lost Coast Designs and it has a ton of sentiments on it so well worth having in your stash!

Moonlight

Hello everyone, Yvonne here with a new blogpost. This time I want to show you a postcard. 

I stamped the shrubbery with versamark and used clear embossingpowder. After that I sponsed with black soot. With my hands I made some water splashes. With yellow and orange I made the moon and around the moon I used a white posca paint marker to create the "shining". On another piece of paper I stamped the cat and I colored him with the same colors. He looks very happy don't you think so ?

For this card I used the following stamps:

- More Cats
- Party Words

Bike Riding with Lost Coast Designs

Hello Coasties!
Wanted to share this card made with this whimsical stamp from Lost Coast Designs--Bird on Bike.   I also used the set Party Words for the sentiment.
I created the background with a mono printing Plate and acrylic paints.

Hi everyone! Leslie here, back to share another project for this month's Lost Coast Designs Blue and Green challenge. I used Lost Coast Designs Corner Swirl and Cheesecoth Background stamps, and a sentiment from Lost Coast Designs Party Words stamp set. I applied all the inks using the DTP technique, and used just a touch of gold to spice things up a bit. :)

Don't Worry Be Happy!

Here's my latest mixed media kind of card created using the largest butterfly in the Butterflies set and sentiment from the Party Words stamp set! Had a great time with this one! I created the background with VersaMagic ink on the Gelli Plate, dropped several colors of Adirondack alcohol inks onto it, then sprayed it with a handmade Perfect Pearls mist! The gorgeous butterfly is embossed with Black Fantasy embossing powder on heavy-weight vellum, colored (on the back side) with Smooch inks, then cut out with a Pergamano 4-prong perforating tool.
