Color Block Faces Note Cards

Good morning everyone, and Happy Monday! Leslie here, sharing a simple set of note cards I created with the very cool technique of stamping with an acrylic block dabbed with distress ink (four different colors) and spritzed with water. I then stamped each one of the Lost Coast Designs Faces stamps - Face with Clock, Face with Spiral, Face with Feathers, and Face with Heart - in Memento Tuxedo Black on the color blocks. I learned recently that the trick to stamping with an acrylic block is to do it on photo paper. Love the results!

Face with Feathers Card

Hello Dear Crafty and Stamper Friends:

Here Bibiana...
with another card  featuring the fun and very pretty stamp "Face with Feathers"  from "Lost Coast Designs". It is somewhat a "Doodling" card style...

For the background, I used a technique that I learned from Wendi Vecchi, if you want to have more details , head over MY BLOG where I explain in detail the technique...

After doing the background, I stamped the "Face with Feathers" stamp with archival brown ink and the word "wish" in black archival ink That I took from the set of stamps "doodle words". This  set of stamps comes with 8 different words...

I then color some sections, with no exact precision, with "TimHoltz" Distress markers...

I added a map (great stamp meant to be used for ATC's) and added at each end this background "Bubbles"  stamp as a border...
