Dream Big

So the CityScape stamp is one of my favorites and since we're celebrating our new Challenge blog in which we have a New Stamp release event until July 22nd going, it is getting a lot of love from me this month :) This piece is inspired by the movie Upside Down which I have seen recently.Such a cool idea, those two world colliding in one.

A few years ago I found a cool marble set which I had stored somewhere for ages. And I finally used it to make wonderful backgrounds for journal/mailart pages. Like the background I used for this piece. I simply stamped the city scape on the top and bottom and embossed with black embossing powder. To fill up the stark whiteness in between the marbles, I sprayed chalk mist powder in blue over the card. (it is handy to create a 'spray box' to put your projects in so you don't spray it all over your desk or clothes etc..)  DREAM BIG in the middle to finish off the piece. I used doodle letter stamp set and colored in with black fineliner. A reminder to always let myself dream, desire and aspire!

Thanks for stopping by!

stencils. I also used some washi tape

I used the following stamps :

I hope I am able to give you some inspiration again with this example :)

Art Journal Quote

Hi all, Esther here,

This time I made another art Journal page. For the background I used some stencils, spray inks, markers and of course some Lost Coast stamps.  Travel Stuff and the Snowflakes set I used for creating the background. (Take a look at the close-up picture to see).
.

For the text I used my Favourite Licence plate set, stamped the text on some gelli print scraps, cut them out and glued them on the background.

Thanks for watching and I hope this page will give you some inspiration :)

Art Journal page with Manga Goth Girl.

Hi everyone,

As I also love mixed media and art journals I made this Art Journal page to show you our stamps are not for card making only. I used 4 different Lost Coast stamps to create this page.
Of course I used one of the lovely new Manga Goth girl stamps as a focal point. For the background I used a Nellann Roberts stamp mat (which I stamped and then sprayed with some water to get a bit of a grungy look), the domino border and a dictionary "Love" stamp.

I took the picture showing you the spiral bound piece on the left so you can see it's really in my A-5 Art Journal and not on a card. Hope you like it  :)

Art Journal pages for Round Robin album

Hi Coasties,

Esther here,

This is my first official post on this lovely Lost Coast Designs Blog. I met Linda a couple of weeks ago on a stamping event in Holland. We had a nice chat and since that day I am going to create as many as possible Lost Coast Artwork for you.

For a Round Robin journal at my Favourite Art and Mixed Media Supply shop De Craftorij in Holland I created this spread using the Lost Coast Designs Domino border with, in the front, the background stamp Large Shrubbery.

The background I made with acryllic paints and templates. The red heart I cut from a piece of scrap paper with paint on it. Hope you like it, thanks for watching and hope to see you again on this blog:)
