World Card Making Day was originaly National Card Making Day and founded by Paper Crafts magazine to bring card makers together at the beginning of the busiest card-making season of the year. First held on October 7, 2006, it is now celebrated annually on the first Saturday in October.
I made a card using awesome Spray Webbing stamp together with Feather Bird, both from Lost Coast Design.
First I painted the card base, then I glued some very very thin paper on it (Is it called rice paper or decoupe paper?). I stamped Feather Bird using VersaFine black ink and then I stamped Spray Webbing with VersaMark and embossed it with clear embossing powder. Some brown DI and a sentiment ... that's how my Bold raven in a forest was made ... and will be flying to the other side of the world.
