The last of this series of posts is a birthday card that I made using the Shrubbery and Mini Birds stamps. The Shrubbery stamp is huge - I actually made two cards from one stamp impression! Unfortunately, though, I only took a picture of one half! :( But I just love how these turned out - another super simple project that exudes simple elegance!
I cut two 4.25" x 5.5" white card bases and two pieces of Marco's navy blue cardstock. I spritzed a homemade mixture of water and white Perfect Pearls powder in a Mini Mister all over another half-sheet of white cardstock. Once dry, I stamped the shrubbery in Memento Bamboo Leaves on the Perfect Pearls cardstock and then cut the image in half. I trimmed both pieces and mounted them on the blue cardstock and then onto the card bases. I stamped two birds on white cardstock in Memento Paris Dusk ink, cut them out and mounted them onto the card fronts. I stamped Happy Birthday (from the Party Words stamp set) on the front and left the inside blank. Love, love, love! The shimmer is just yummy! ;)
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hugs,
Leslie
