Moon Fiddler Vintage Note Card

I'm back-tracking a bit and posting several cards I made a few weeks back with some yummy Lost Coast Designs stamps. I included them all in one post on my blog but would like to showcase them in several separate posts here. These were all simple designs requiring very few supplies. ;)

The first one I'd like to show you is my Moon Fiddler Vintage Note Card created with the Moon Fiddler stamp. I love anything vintage and this stamp is just so awesome! I cut a 4.25" x 5.5" ivory card base and distressed the edges with Ranger Walnut Stain distress ink. I stamped the fiddler in Memento Rich Cocoa ink on a piece of ivory cardstock, trimmed it and distressed the edges with the Walnut Stain distress ink. I cut a flap off a cardboard box and peeled one side off, leaving the corrugated portion showing, and distressed it with the Walnut Stain distress ink. I mounted the image on the cardboard with bronze brads in each corner, tied it up with some Studios Blackbird brown twine and  adhered the unit to the card base. That's it! Super simple and super cool looking! I love using cardboard box flaps on my projects - I've made several cards this way and they all turned out really neat!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs,
