Today I'm sharing the 4 projects I made, 3 ATCs and a Votive Candle Holder.
"Love Me Love My Cat" ATC
Lost Coast Designs Cracked Party Cat, Grunge Border 2" "Love" Misc Worlds, Love Dictionary, Hearts and Curls border and Hearts border...which is currently on sale...and the words "Me, My and Cat" are handwritten.
"Let Love Fly" ATC
Lost Coast Designs Cracked Chicken, Grunge Border 2", Hearts and Curls border, Hearts border, "Love and Fly" from the Misc Words set and "Let" is handwritten.
Lost Coast Designs White Rabbit - Rabbits, Cat Face, Hatter, Grunge Border 2", Love Dictionary, Hearts and Curls border, Hearts border, Heart Diamond Spade Club border and "Adventure" Misc Words set.
All the ATCs started out the same, I created a background with Fired Brick and Shaded Lilac Distress Inks applied to white cardstock with foam applicators. I cut out the ATCs (Artist Trading Cards are 2.5" x 3.5") and stamped them with the Grunge Border in Fired Brick, making sure the Heart was prominent on 2 of them. The Heart and Curls and Hearts borders were stamped in either Shaded Lilac or Fired Brick Distress Ink. The Love Dictionary was also stamped in Fired Brick and all the black stamping was done in Versafine ink. All the images were coloured with PrismaColor pencils with metallic gold details done with a gold gel pen and fussy cut out and adhered to the ATCs with pop dots. The handwritten text were done with a black Micron pen. For lots of yummy dimension and sparkle I applied Vive Pearl Magic Transparent White and clear Wink of Stella to all 3 ATCs and completed my Wonderland inspired ATC one with a brass clock charm and a tiny white button brad.
I wanted this
one to convey the message that Love is in our Hearts but it is also in
our Hands and what we do with it is up to us!
I stamped the ceramic candle holder with Lost Coast Designs ATC Hamsa hands with black StazOn ink and coloured the designs with Sharpie markers in my signature "Sharpie Domino Queen" technique. The message was handwritten with a black Sharpie. To protect the stamping I spray sealed with Krylon Artist's Workable Fixative and Gloss sealer.
Here's a view of the holder in the evening, I love the little hearts it casts on it's surroundings!
Thanks for stopping by to see my projects and I hope you''ll write us a review and let us know how much you love LCD/CV ;0)
